Hong Kong has some stunning public pools, and this one stands out. Boasting both indoor and outdoor pools as well as amenities like water slides, jacuzzis, saunas, steam baths, and a lazy river, it provides something for all visitors – families, couples or solo travellers.

Four Seasons Hong Kong offers an outdoor pool that is not only expansive, but offers breathtaking views of Hong Kong cityscape as well. Plus, with hot and cold whirlpools to soothe sore muscles after swimming laps; or enjoy music while swimming around thanks to built-in underwater speakers!

Victoria Park boasts another gorgeous public pool in Hong Kong: Victoria Park’s Victoria Pool boasts a 50-metre main pool, teaching pool, and spectator stand that seats 2,500. Opened in 1957 as one of Hong Kong’s first public swimming complexes, this facility was closed down in 2013 but will re-open as part of a new complex by 2017 due to lack of funding.

Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) operates 44 public swimming pools in Hong Kong. There are nine on Hong Kong Island, 13 in Kowloon and 22 in the New Territories – and booking in advance may be wise if visiting during summer months. In addition to public pools, residential developments often boast their own swimming pools for families with young children; such as Ocean Shores or Park Island which boast multiple towers that feature pools as an option; you can access information regarding these on LCSD website or by searching individual tower websites of individual towers within them to learn about facilities provided within them.
